Glueball filled with quark field as a model of nucleon

چکیده

On the basis of the non-perturbative Heisenberg’s quantization scheme and using some simplifications and assumptions the reduction from the gluon-quark Lagrangian to a scalar-fermion Lagrangian is made. The corresponding field equations have a regular spherically symmetric solution which can be interpreted as a simplified model of nucleon. Some properties of such a “nucleon” are discussed: the presence of a mass gap and spin 6= h̄/2. The mass gap describes the difference between the “nucleon” and the “nucleon” without quark field (a scalar glueball). The presence of spin 6= h̄/2 can be connected with the spin problem of nucleon.

We study the contribution of glueball and σ-meson degrees of freedom to nucleon excited states in the framework of a chiral version of the chromodielectric model. We have found that these degrees of freedom considerably lower the energy of the Roper and may substantially weaken the electroexcitation amplitudes for the N(1440) and in particular for the N(1710). Among the excited states of the nu...

A QUARTIC POTENTIAL FOR THE NUCLEONIC QUARKS

We assume that each valence quark in a nucleon is in a phenomenological modified harmonic oscillator potential of the form: ( l+yo) (ar +br+cr +dr ), where a, b, c and d are constants and ? is one of the Dirac matrices. Then by making use of a suitable ansatz, the Dirac equation has a very simple solution which is exact. We then have calculated the static properties of the nucleon in the ...

electroproduction amplitudes in a model with dynamical confinement

The Roper resonance is described in a chiral version of the chromodielectric model as a cluster of three quarks in radial-orbital configuration (1s)2(2s)1, surrounded by π and σ-meson clouds and by a chromodielectric field which assures quark dynamical confinement. Radial profiles for all fields are determined self-consistently for each baryon. Transverse A1/2 and scalar S1/2 helicity amplitude...

Theoretical Development on Pentaquarks

Quark model is very successful in the classification of hadron states. Any state with quark content other than qq̄, qqq is beyond quark model. But quark model can’t be the whole story. Quantum chromodynamics as the underlying theory of strong interaction allows much richer hadron spectrum such as: glueball, hybrid meson/baryon, multiquark states, hadron molecules etc. In the meson sector, there ...

Quark mean field model for nuclear matter and finite nuclei

We study nuclear matter and finite nuclei in terms of the quark mean field (QMF) model, in which we describe the nucleon using the constituent quark model. The meson mean fields, in particular the σ meson, created by other nucleons act on quarks inside a nucleon and change the nucleon properties in nuclear medium. The QMF model predicts an increasing size of the nucleon as well as a reduction o...
